Thanks for the translation. After reading this I realized I was able to get what they were saying through the emotion of the visuals even though I can't read Russian.
I worked on the film. It is about the disillusionment of an artist. It is meant to be poignant. Very old-fashioned in it's approach and unique for that reason.
